                               RESOLUTION NO. 19335
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING SUPPORT FOR A NEW 
                   WELCOME CENTER TO BE OPERATED BY THE 
                   CHATTANOOGA CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 WHEREAS, the Chattanooga Convention and Visitors Bureau 
       plans to construct a new Visitors' Center to be located in the 
       Ross's Landing area; and
       	    	 WHEREAS, the new Visitors' Center will be operated by 
       the Chattanooga Convention and Visitors Bureau; and
       	    	 WHEREAS, a detailed budget of operating expenses for the 
       year will be presented for Council approval at a later date;
       	    	 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 
       THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the City Council wishes 
       to express support for the new Chattanooga Visitors' Center to be 
       operated by the Chattanooga Convention and Visitors Bureau.
